When people visit a nutritional therapist, they expect the conversation to just focus on what they are eating, what they are not eating, and what they should be eating! So when the discussion turns to sleeping patterns and quality of sleep this can come as a surprise.

I came across this quote a while back: “If you keep doing what you are doing, you will keep getting what you are getting”.
I like this quote because I find it very empowering. It suggests that what we do on a daily basis has a significant impact on what life appears to dish up for us. Of course we cannot be in control of everything, but we are probably in control of more than we think.
Make water fun with infusions
A lot of people don’t like the taste of water, or find it boring. This can be a major challenge for keeping well hydrated! Keeping well hydrated (so drinking about 2L fluids, or 8-10 glasses, per day) is sooo important for your health - see my previous post on the importance of hydration to find out more.
I have already given my top tips for keeping hydrated previously, and in this post I want to focus on infusions to give you more ideas on how to make water a more appealing (and nutritious) drink.
